One feature can mean something different at a primary school versus a university. Here is how the most common ones change.
Computer-Based Exams [B-2]
Primary: Nice to have — some top primary schools use it for Primary 5 and 6 Common Entrance practice, with a simple child-friendly screen.
Secondary: Essential — weekly tests, JAMB/WAEC mock exams, and the system helps reduce cheating during online exams.
Tertiary: Essential — handles thousands of General Studies (GST) exams where marking by hand is not realistic.
Staff Salaries & HR [H-1, H-2]
Primary / Secondary: Premium add-on — many smaller schools still use Excel for 20–30 staff. This brings proper payslips, tax, and pension in one place.
Tertiary: Essential — hundreds of lecturers and admin staff on different pay scales need automated salary runs and tax deductions.
Online Learning Area [C-1, C-2, C-3]
Primary: Nice to have — teachers often upload worksheets for parents to print at home.
Secondary: Essential — daily homework online, study notes, and class discussions after school.
Tertiary: Central to teaching — project uploads, lecture materials, and large online classes.
SMS & Alerts [D-1, D-2]
Primary / Secondary: Essential and parent-focused — PTA reminders, fee alerts, and emergency messages straight to parents' phones.
Tertiary: More student-focused — exam dates, portal deadlines, and result notices go to students by email and in-app alerts.
